Santa Maria dry rub is a very simple spice rub that is perfect for every cut of beef and especially great on tri-tip. It first became popular in Santa Maria, California going back to the days of Spanish rancheros.

Perfect for every cut of beef, great on tri-tip.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black peppercorns

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

  • 1/4 teaspoon MSG (Accent)

  • 1 tablespoon paprika (optional)

Directions

  • Mix all the ingredients until thoroughly combined.
