Thai Seafood Dipping Sauce

This is a delicious alternative to butter when eating crab or other seafood. It has all five flavors of salty, sweet, sour, umami, and spicy.

Serve this crab dipping sauce with your freshly Steamed Dungeness Crabs.

Try it on anything you cook in your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce

  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro

  • 2 tablespoons finely sliced scallions

Directions

  • Bring water to simmer in a small pot.
  • Add the sugar and stir until dissolved.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients.
